Ozcat Radio is seeking “underwriters”--local businesses or individuals to provide tax-deductible contributions in return for on-air and online acknowledgement.
These contributions will support day-to-day station operations, as well as funding for studio and broadcasting equipment upgrades.
Ozcat Radio is an all-volunteer nonprofit and non-commercial AM and internet radio station dedicated to promoting local and independent artists as well as highlighting community events and non-profit information.
We are on the air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week serving the greater Vallejo area.
COSTS & CONTENT:
Each $10 contribution will underwrite one hour of live Ozcat Radio programming. The underwriter will receive top-of-the hour and bottom-of-the-hour on-air aknowledgement You will be the exclusive underwriter for your sponsored hour
BASIC ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: “Ozcat Radio programming is supported by our listeners, as well as by..:” Following this phrase, your acknowledgement may include up to 30 words describing the type of business, address, phone number, website, email, brand or trade name of the product or service, value-neutral description of the product or service, historical information, logogram or non-promotional slogan. Ozcat Radio can create or suggest an acknowledgement for you – just ask!
A NOTE ABOUT CONTENT: Ozcat Radio is a commercial-free station, and therefore, must meet FCC guidelines for permissible underwriting acknowledgements. FCC rules do not permit calls to action, inducements to buy, sell or lease; opinions or views; price information; promotions; comparative or qualitative verbiage; or support or opposition to any political candidate.

THE FINE PRINT:
A one month (four week)
minimum commitment is required.
You may sponsor one or more weekly shows or underwrite an hour or more of a particular show
Example: sponsoring a weekly three hour show...$30/week = $120/month
Example: Underwriting one hour of a weekly show...$10/week = $40/month
Shows will be available for underwriting on a first come-first serve basis.
