The mission of Ozcat Entertainment is to promote local artists, local history, and local local non-profits
The Mission of Ozcat Entertainment is to:
•Prepare and promote local and independent artists and technicians in the field of popular arts and entertainment
•Foster Vallejo's entertainment history and heritage by highlighting community arts and entertainment
•Uplift community spirit and awareness by supporting other local non-profits
•Broaden the musical and cultural horizons of our community and its artists.

Ozcat Radio's flying monkeys are always poised to spread the word about our programs

For the past three and a half years, Our flagship program, Ozcat Radio, has been on the air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week broadcasting our unique blend of local entertainment to the greater Vallejo area and the world at large by way of the internet. We have given hundreds of local and area artists their first opportunity to have their music played on the radio through live on-air performances and in-depth interviews.

We are currently getting ready for a major milestone: we have been granted an FCC construction permit for 89.5 FM in our area. This means that in the coming months, we will become a bona fide FM station for our community. Our FM coverage will also include Napa, American Canyon, Suisun City, and Martinez. We are excited to be able to showase our talented deejays and local artists and equally excited to share our community's creativity with the rest of the world. Toward this end we hope to receive the support of our local businesses in terms of donations and show sponsorships. With the current financial climate in Vallejo, it is more important than ever that the community supports its non-profits. To make Ozcat the success we envision, we will need the help of the whole community

Our beautiful facility on Georgia Street has become a center for artists to work on projects such as video shoots, band rehearsals, listening parties etc. The building features our “Emerald Room” complete with small performance stage where we produce events such as poetry readings, theatrical performances and educational events that we feel may be of interest to our community. We have developed programs such as "Stagetime" where students learn performance skills and stagecraft.

Ozcat also networks with other community services to highlight their programming and events. We are currently the official radio station for the Vallejo Symphony and we will be rebroadcasting all of their live performances over the air. We have participated in community programs such as National Neighborhood Night Out and Coastal Cleanup. We have even instituted our own railroad track clean-up program in our neighborhood called "The Yellow Brick Road Project"

Additionally, Ozcat will serve as an emergency radio broadcast for the City of Vallejo. Ozcat will assist in disseminating vital emergency information and bulletins. We stand poised and ready to serve the city of Vallejo when called upon to do so.
