Ozcat's Chef Mark Harrison always dishes up tasty rock and blues

Chef Mark Harrison dishes up smokin' hot rock and blues entrees on vinyl with CDs on the side. Mark showcases selections from his ever-growing music collection of vintage classics and recent releases. With over 2,500 LPs in the collection, you can be sure you will be enjoying a wide variety of great music.

In addition to collecting vintage vinyl 78s etc., Mark collects vintage and antique radios of all sorts and is an avid radio listener. When he stumbled onto Ozcat and its non-commercial format,he immediately called up and got involved.

A Vallejo resident for over 20 years, Mark has been a professional chef for the past 18. Just like with music, for Mark cooking is "all about the flavor". Former chef at the Union Hotel in Benicia, Mark currently cooks it up at Alex's Catering in V-town and as the dinner chef at Mike and Gayle's Shoreline Restaurant in Benicia.

A Benicia favorite for over 30 years, Mike and Gayle's features Sunday brunch from noon to 5:00. The restaurant also features live jazz when the weather permits.

You might also find Mark at your nearest flea market as "The Vinyl Finder", wheeling and dealing in vintage and collectible vinyl records.
