Check out our VIDEO CLIPS Page!
Lots of fun clips from the Throne Tour

Jimi Fischer...Musical Director, Bass Player
Longtime friend and colleague, Jimi has produced many projects for David, including "Did You Do It OJ?" and "Drive Me Wild", and David's current album, "King David's Throne" and the "Anyway" single. Jimi has worked with many of the greats, including the Temptations and Steve Winwood. A consumate player as well as a producer, Jimi toured recently with Shana Morrison.

Rankin Scroo...Special Guest Artist, Producer/Engineer
David is also fortunate to have onboard, "Da Godfada" himself, Rankin Scroo. Rankin is currently bumping the charts working with many contemporary hip-hop and rap artists, most notably, Bay Area veterans E-40, B Legit, Too Short, Tha Massie, Turf Talk, Digital Underground, Keak Tha Sneak to mention a few.

Reggae fans will also remember Rankin from "Rankin Scroo and Ginger". In addition to performing, running his studio, Crucial Youth Productions, and pursuing a film career, Rankin will be performing as a guest artist with David. He is also an engineering genius and with his expertise and experience, the band's sound will be slamming. Rankin also co-wrote and performed on David's new release, "Chillin'" from "King David's Throne"

Red-I...Special Guest Artist, Road Manager
Chilean dub reggae-rap artist extraordinaire, Red-I is a truly unique performer with a social conscience only exceded by his sense of humor and deep rich baritone.
Listen to and purchase Red-I's album, "Unidad" at CD Baby.

Red-I has been translating and coaching David on the production of a Spanish language version of the "Anyway" single to be released to Spanish radio in the upcoming months.

Gigi Gonaway...Drummer
David and Gigi worked together in a band called "Marin Allstars" - an ever changing band, depending on whoever was off tour and wanted to get in on some grocery money and good jams. For over 10 years, Gigi has been Mariah Carey's exclusive drummer whever she is on-tour. A true virtuoso, Gigi's outrageous personality and positive energy takes this band to the next level.

Ryan Daisley...Keyboards
With his cool vibes and musical sensitivity, multi-talented Barbadian Ryan Daisley plays the keys with soothing sensuality. He was musical director for Jahmali and David Kirton on the Spirit of Unity tour in 1999. He worked for the Norwegian Cruise Lines from 1994-to 1999. He played at Jamaica Sunsplash with Auturo Tappin. A producer and vocalist in his own right, Ryan is director of Shaolin Studios in Oakland, California.

Geoff Palmer...Keyboards
Geoff Palmer performs regularly with Marin County's "The Sons of Champlin". He was raised in Chicago and the son of entertainers. A natural left-hander and utility infielder, he covers a lot of ground on the keyboards with bass lines and chords, plays horn parts on alto and baritone saxes, as well as vibes and even bass, depending on what the arrangement called for. More than a technician, Palmer is an innovative soloist on whatever instrument he happens to be holding.

Biambu Garrett...Guitar
Biambu has his own album out on the Music On The Vines Label. His eclecticiscm and love of good music is demonstrated in the thank you on his album: "Special Thanks To- Miles Davis, Allan Holdsworth, Herbie Hancock, Steely Dan, Sting, Marvin Gay, Van Halen, The Pharcyde, AC/DC, P-Funk, Hip-Hop in general, Vernon Black, John Scofield, Michelle Ndegiocello, Marcus Miller, Billy Holiday, Susan Vega, Prince, The Moffessionals, Sade, Sinatra and This Wonderful Universe we live in for in it's constant happening lies the eternal flame of creative inspiration."

Joy King...Vocalist
With a smile of pure sunshine, back-up singer Joy King
is a gifted vocalist and songwriter. David is looking forward to featuring Joy
singing of her original songs with the band.

Bridget Marie...Vocalist
A soloist in her own right, Bridget has lent her sultry voice to the likes
of Brimstone, Mikey Dread and other reggae artists. Bridget and David
will perform a duet ballad, "One Step At A Time", for the upcoming tour.

Key Crew Members:

Richard Fray...Tour Bus Driver/ Coach Maintenance
Truly a jack of all trades, Rich Fray is master of most of them. From his childhood acting and modelng adventures as the Foremost Milk Boy and roles in "The Serial" and 'Jaws II" to his illustrious carreer at ILM (Ghostbusters, Terminator 2, Hunt for Red October), Rich's great attitude and terrific sense of humor always kept the vibe in check. Rich currently drums for the Bay Area Band C4 Inc. We are grateful he traded in his sticks for a while to go on the road with us.

Casey Shanahan...Equipment
Casey came all the way from Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii to lug and load euipment.
Luckily for us, he loves music, staying up late and didn't mind sleeping in closet-like spaces. Even though he was almost left behind when the tour bus took off and frequently the target of numerous religious recruitment tactics, Casey held his own and proved
to be a huge asset to the group.

Gabe Memmert...Equipment, Assistant Manager
With his experience as a minor league baseball player (Johnstown PA, San Angelo TX), living on a tour bus was no biggie for Gabe. Dealing with the quirky demands and habits of a group of wild musicians was a whole other matter. As a fitness trainor, Gabe kept the band in shape, working out on the road whenever possible.

Marvin Nettles...Equipment, Computer Technician
A whiz with cords and cables, Marvin's computer expertise came in handy time and time again. Whether it was recording radio spots from hotel rooms or helping bandmembers with their laptop issues, Marvin's good natured humor kept the laughter flowing
and the stress at bay.

Special Thanks to Engineer Pete Slauson who volunteered countless hours
of research and development as well as exclusive use of his world class
101 North Records in San Rafael, California. Check out some Pete's incredible discography. He has worked with some of the best in the business.

Special thanks also to Tullah Carter of Pineapple Productions
for all her support and advise on this project. Tullah's longtime experience
in music promotion and production were indispensible.
